Welcome!

I’ve threatened to start a blog before, but haven’t actually done it. Last week I found an article about Blog Art, and I was looking into starting a blog for my husband to show some of his oil paintings. I guess I don’t have any more excuses.

Here goes! I am a student in the ILT program at the University of Colorado Denver. I taught Special Education for several years and then worked with a behavioral optometrist as a Vision Therapist. This master’s program is giving me the opportunity to combine my background in education with my passion (okay, my obsession) for computers.

This blog will follow my progress this semester, give me a place to to explore e-learning, share resources and any insights or revelations I may have along the way. Check back often for new entries and my progress in learning Flash Action Script and Java Script.
